Milliónyi apró kaparászó zaj,
Éjjelente őrületbe hajt.
Tüdőm, úgy érzem, majd kettészakad,
A fejemre mintha vihar telepedne le.
Ellepnek mindent. Felemésztenek.
Beleidben vájnak, élősködnek.
Több ezernyi kis zaj egy barlangba vezet.
A patkányok a falban okozzák veszted.
Patkányok a falban, mikor a feneketlen éj
Hamis leplet vet rád, hogy a sötéttől ne félj,
De az összes téboly, de az összes nyüzsgés
Bejárja a füled mint gyomrodat a kés.
A falaim üresek, hiába kutatok,
Eltűntek belőlük a zajos patkányok.
Hiába minden.
Csak hadd ne halljam.
Pedig már nincsenek
Patkányok a falban.
